Saturday night began our Celebration of Christ’s Resurrection as a church community. I stood in awe and watched as this weekend unfolded with around 350 attending our services. This is no small task considering we are 9 Months old as a Church. I have to believe God’s intentions are for His Church (all churches) to continue to grow and make fully devoted Followers of Jesus. Our prayer is that God would use the people of Journey to reach out and make known the name of Jesus in our area!!! My encouragement to you is that you would allow God to use you in a mighty way. If we would only listen and hear the voice of the Lord, He would instruct us how to assist Him in building His Kingdom. I’m really deep in thought today about our church on this Fast Tuesday. Will you take a few moments today and pray for the Leadership of Journey Church that God would continue to give us God ideas on how to reach out and make a difference? Talk to you soon!

Friday was a special night with Worship Leaders, Song Writers, Pastors, and muscians in Arlington. Saturday nite was the finale of our Family Matters Series which ended with a nite of Family Worship. David and the band were outstanding and very friendly. His techno style worship was a very interesting twist to Vineyard’s Standard. I loved It! Thanks to our great friends Harry, Dianne, and Jenna for helping put this whole night of worship together.  You can view some photos from Saturday nites worship event on the blog.
