Disney World with The Davis’s – Home of A Million Dreams!!!

What an incredible couple of days in Orlando !!

It all started out leaving good ol Green Cove Springs at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning. We ended up at Animal Kingdom making good time ( Thanks Tony J) only to find out that Tony and Yvette’s tickets were not valid. L The black out dates had changed from the year prior and they were not good. Well this is God story #1. After Tony and Yvette went to Guest Services and explained the situation they were given free Hopper tickets for one day. So we went on our way. Animal Kingdom was a blast. It was packed but we managed to do all we wanted to do in a short amount of time. We rode Everest, visited all of Dinoland, Conner found the Iguanodon on the Dinosaur ride; we rode the Serengeti, braved the rapids, ate Mc Donald’s, and just had an awesome time. After Animal Kingdom we went to the Sheraton Resort where we all stayed in one big condo like room. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Davis. (Tony’s parents)  The room was beautiful and was so nice. After we got to the room and dried all of our clothes in the dryer (from the rapids) we were introduced to Uno’s pizza. It was soooo good. From Uno’s we headed to the Magic Kingdom. We rode all the great rides fast passing a lot and God’s favor was still with us. God story #2. We all went to have ice cream. Yvette and Renee shared. J   Conner’s fell on the ground after about 5 licks. Tony went to the counter and they gave him another one no charge. Hey even the little things we give God credit for!! The lines were long at Magic Kingdom  but we continued to always wait a short amount of time. The clock would say 40 minutes to Thunder Mountainand we would wait 15. How did we know this? Because Tony timed every ride we went on with his watch. It was great!!  God story #3. We had just finished coming out of Pirates. Space Mountain had been shut down earlier that day with no fast passes. We walked out of Pirates and saw a couple of guys that worked at Disney. We asked them if Space Mountainwas back up. One of the guys checked his radio and said yes and there was a 90 minute wait. Renee asked if he could make us reservations and he gave us 8 fast passes. After Space Mountainit was around 11 p.m and we left the park and headed for the room. The kids were crashed!!  Day 2 – We slept in and headed to MGM around 10:30 a.m.  God story #4 We prayed that morning that God would give the Davis’s favor with there expired tickets again. God answered!! Not only did the park give them free tickets again but they were Hopper passes once again. All in all Hopper tickets for both days for their family would have been over 900 dollars. Wow! God is amazing. So many awesome things happened that day, tons of free fast passes, Ashtyn Taylor, Conner, Reed, and Tony got to star in Indiana Jones, ( Tony did the worm J) We got to get pics taken with Indiana Jones and the kids got free trading pins. (That saved us money on souvenirs). Ashtyn got a free frozen coke for waiting in line too long, Conner conquered Rockin Rolling Coaster and Taylor conquered Tower of Terror. We now know that Tower of Terroris so much better with your hands in the air thanks to Yvette. It was just an amazing time with God stories around every corner. We had a great time with the Davisfamily and made memories that will last forever!! Like Tony’s cackle on the coasters. We love Journey Churchand are thankful for the friendships we have made there. Awesome Christian friends you can do life with!!!

   It was definitely an awesome time that was blessed by God all the way through! We are looking forward to the 2nd Annual Davis-Lamoureux Family Trip to Orlando! Since both our Florida passes have now expired, next year, I say we pick any Orlando park, walk up to the Guest Relations window and ask for our 8 park passes – oh, and those will be free please! Then, to save more money while adding years to your life, all 8 of us will share 3 dinner entrees and eat like Okinawans!

   Yes!!!! God is good. It was so awesome to experience His favor and presence blessing everything we did…all weekend long. We too are very blessed to have such awesome christian friends to do life with:) All thanks be to God.
   Oh yeah…one more thing…just push it, sir:)
