20 Thirties – 1 Peter now on the way…
Thank you to everyone that was able to make it Wednesday night. What an amazing start in 1 Peter with nearly 50 adults in the cafe'. There were several new couples and individuals trying it out for the first time. We are so glad that came out and participated. Please remember this weekend to recruit those at Journey who are not currently attending! We want everyone to get fired up about God's Word and the life taking place at 20Thirties.
Well, we got through two verses in chapter 1…lol. We will try and make more progress this week. There is so much in the first two verses alone including, the Sovereignty of God, God's Election for both Israel (Det. 7), Christians today, the Church under persecution, and much more. I would encourage you to read through verse 12 for this coming week's talk. There were so many prayer requests toward the end that we prayed for. Be sure to remember those throughout the week if possible.

I cant even tell you how much we LOVE 20s-30s! Its just the icing on the cake for us every single week. I love diving into the word and hearing everyones views and comments. It def helps to put everything into perspective. When the lady last week was saying how no matter what happens in your life, even if it means losing EVERYTHING….house, family, job, etc. we still have to realize that somehow it is for Gods glory…that really hit home for me bc she is SOOO RIGHT!!! But that has been SOOO HARD for me personally! I totally understood exactly what she was saying and just knowing Im not the only one struggling to TRUST God and give him the glory in EVERYTHING made me realize just how easily decieved I am! Love you guys and 20s-30s!!!!!
